Teaching Assistant and Senior Mid-Day Supervisor
I started working with children when my 1st child was old enough to go to Pre-School. I was at Woodlands Methodist Church for 3 years, and went on to work with a special needs pupil at Oatlands Pre-School. In September 2001 I moved to Oatlands Infant School as an MSA, at the same time as my youngest son started at the school, progressing to SMDS in May 2003. I have had great personal satisfaction from seeing very many pupils develop over the 3 years they are at the school in terms of personalities, attitudes and outlook.
In my spare time I love playing netball and supporting my boys play rugby.
I work as a kitchen assistant Monday to Friday.
Out of school I have 2 daughters. We have a dog which we enjoy going on long walks with.
Oatlands Infant School has been part of my families life for as long as I can remember. I have four children and two step-daughters who all attended the school.
In my spare time I love sport and fitness and I like to share this with the children by introducing them to various sports such as hockey- with many of the children going on to play for Harrogate. In the Summer term I like to encourage the children to try athletics and we always end of having a few obstacle races!
Out of school I keep busy with my family and my four dogs and two cats.
I work as a Midday supervisor Monday to Friday and started in September 2018.
Out of work I have a husband, a daughter and a son. We love to go camping in our caravan to different places with friends.
I started in January 2019 as a midday supervisor.
Outside of work, I am a member of many gaming communities and help to organise scrims (online matches between teams) for teams wanting to go into Esports.
