Terrific Turtles

We are o-fish-ally in Turtle class, and really enjoying it! In the last half term, we have settled well in to our new school and made lots of new friends. Every day we enjoy exploring inside and outside the classroom, learning new things and having a go! Sometimes new things can be a little tricky; like getting ready for PE by ourselves, but we're getting really good at it....even if we do lose the odd sock now and again.

During snack time, we like to sing songs and talk to each other about our morning, or listen to a story.

Marvellous Me!

This term, we have been learning all about what makes us special, we have enjoyed painting our self portraits and talking about what we would like to do when we grow up!

We enjoyed learning all about people who help us- especially dressing up as Police men and women, doctors and fire crew. Some of us want to be train drivers, vets, ballerinas and mermaids when we grow up!

Take a look at our beautiful portraits in our cloakroom!

Art time

This term we have already learnt that Art can be flat- like a picture or tall and be seen ALL AROUND like a sculpture. We know that art is made of Lines, Colours and Shapes. We used colours, shapes and lines to create our seaweed sculptures and cut and stuck paper to create flat art Turtles for our class room. Take a look!!
